Visting my Irish Homeland
My son and I have been traveling around the UK this week and today we boarded a plane and headed to Dublin, Ireland. My family comes from Ireland and we thought it would be a great adventure to see where the family originated. We’ve toured around Dublin today and saw some of the most amazing architecture I’ve ever seen and we drank a few Guinness at the Gravity Bar overlooking the entire city of Dublin.

Tomorrow we are heading back out to tour Dublin Castle, St. Patrick’s Cathedral and many other incredibly historic spots in Dublin. Oh, did I mention today is my birthday? What an incredible way to spend it, with my 18 year old son in Dublin, Ireland. Unbelievable!!
Cheers!

I realize it’s a little late but happy birthday anyway. You seem to be doing a lot of traveling these days. And it’s always interesting to hear or read about one’s own journey into one’s homeland. It’s like getting to know oneself and appreciating where one came from. Somehow, one comes back as a different person. Subtly different. It’s also great that you brought along family with you.
