I’ve been watching articles and videos over the last week or so regarding the new google ‘in depth’ or “search within a search” search function. First, let me tell you what they are doing. I like the idea but many do not and people are speaking out about it quite harshly.
Ok, head over to Google and type Best Buy into the search box and you will see this appear under the Best Buy result. Here’s what you will see.

You will see the new search Best Buy box appear under the Best Buy result and you can enter in something to search. This allows you to specifically search the Best Buy site in depth. I entered Mac and these are the results I got.

You can see it is all results on the Best Buy site. Now, this is good for me and I can see why it’s good for Google but what is the difference in searching the actual Best Buy site? Also, Google is showing Adwords ads next to the results, you can’t see it in my snapshots but there are competitor’s results there. Is this good for Best Buy? No.. Google? of course it is.

Well, I finally did it, I changed the blog and I upgraded to the beta version 2.5 of Wordpress. So far, I really like the interface, it’s very different and took a while to get used to it, but I like it. One great addition (I think it’s been in a few previous versions) is widgets.
Especially the sidebar widgets, no more downloading plugins, figuring out where to add the code and trying to make it work in the theme. With widgets it’s simple, upload the plugin and drag the widget wherever you want it to show in the sidebar and you’re done. Very nice.
The change in interface also makes it simple to edit and change posts, manage comments, categories, tags, etc… Everything can be managed from one page, instead of bouncing around to each individual section like in the earlier versions of Wordpress.
Here’s a couple of screen shots of the admin interface.

I came across a website yesterday and it was so bad it made me understand why Internet Marketing gets a bad reputation at times. This person gave himself the title of Video Expert and it’s funny because he knows nothing about video. In fact, the videos look like they were created with a cheap webcam or the video camera on a digital camera. The lighting is horrendous, he even used the chroma key function and it looks ridiculous.
So, why my rant on this so called expert? Well I’ve seen many people do it and this particular person has been doing it for about a year, he’s been faking it and will never make it. He constantly makes claims of being an expert and I’ve yet to see him back it up.
Why am I qualified to criticize this so called video expert? I’ll give you some background. I’ve been working with computers and video equipment for over 15 years, our company owns over $30,000 worth of video and audio equipment, our company was the first Seminar company involved in Internet Marketing to broadcast a 3 day seminar Live over the Internet. I think that gives me a little credibility to criticize this ‘expert’.
I won’t name the product but it just launched and has ‘cash machine’ in the name. He even shows screen shots of his bank account, which is bogus and lame. His videos have a few thousand hits each… wow, stop the presses.
Ok, there is a point to this rant. If you want to learn from a YouTube Video Expert, visit Charles Trippy’s You Tube Channel, it’s funny because Charles has almost as many subscribers as this expert has views on his videos. Charles has over 1.2 million views on his videos not a mere 55 thousand.. that’s the difference between someone who is doing it and someone who is faking it. I’m so confident that Charles is a YouTube Video Expert and his product is 100 times better than this cash machine thing, that I’m posting his link here sans affiliate link, that’s right a straight link to his product. Viral Video Fever.
If you want to see a real You Tube Video Expert in action and a real product that will show you how to use YouTube profitably, visit Charles Trippy’s Viral Video Fever.
