A friend of mine has been chosen to compete in the competition being held by another friend whom I’ve known for a few years, Joel Comm, called The Next Internet Millionaire. I met Jason Henderson in Dallas, Texas when we held our marketing seminar in March. Actually, Jason was a presenter and instructed the audience on back pain and proper posture for people that work on the computer all day.
Anyway, I put together a short video giving Jason Henderson my endorsement for the contest, take a minute and watch the video and head over to his site and vote for him as The Next Internet Millionaire. Good Luck Jason!

I wanted to do something a little differently today. Normally when someone recommends a product or service, they send you the information in an email with a link to click and a long explanation about it. I’m going to do something completely out of the ordinary today. I’ve put together a short video testimonial that I’d like you to watch.
The video is less than 2 minutes long but I wanted you to see and hear my thoughts about this product and the person behind it instead of just reading some text.
View the Video
To your success,
Pat & Jon

I’ve attended many seminars, worked many seminars and have put on seminars of my own but one thing I can say always… I mean always happens is, I pick up a few ‘golden nuggets’ of information. Today is day two of JV Alert Live and it’s happened several times already. What do I mean by ‘golden nuggets’ of information? My definition of a ‘golden nugget’ is, a small bit of information heard during a presentation, at lunch, during a hotseat, in the lounge over drinks or simply listening to others talking. The nugget of information is something that will improve the way I do things, increase sales, increase motivation, productivity, etc.. Something that others are doing that I can duplicate or use and improve my business or myself.
Yesterday, one of my favorite copywriters and someone I’ve been following for years, Michel Fortin, was speaking and mentioned one little ‘golden nugget’ that I’m going to put into use as soon as I get back to Indiana. It’s funny because it was something he said nonchalantly and moved on to his presentation.
I had another ‘ah-ha’ moment when Erik Stafford was on the hotseat getting his website reviewed. Dave Lakhani stood up and was giving Erik some advice and said something that reached out and smacked me in the head… another ‘golden nugget’.
Just these two things when put into use are going to make things easier, more profitable and more helpful for the members of one of our websites. I know I say it a lot but, the power of attending seminars is incredible, get off your butt and go to one.
